Hi everyone, first post and I've got a problem!
My 1000D's second shutter (the one that covers the sensor when the mirror is down) is jammed halfway across the sensor so I can't take any pictures.
I'm worries that it might have scratched the sensor and also haven't a clue how to fix it.
Has anyone any advice on how to fix this, or an idea of the price it will cost to have this done professionally?
Thanks in anticipation
Mark

Re: Canon 1000D second shutter stuck!
Hi,
Seems it might be a known issue with Firmware:
check this out:
http://web.canon.jp/imaging/eosd/firm-e/eosdigital5/firmware.html
Else I would go to Canon Support and get it either fixed under warranty or replaced.
